This Property is Condemned paired Robert Redford and Natalie Wood once again. The movie was based on a Tennessee Williams play. The Story takes place in Mississippi during the depression.

Owen (Redford) comes into town to lay off some of the railroad workers. He meets Alva (Wood) the so called 'town Flirt'. Alva desperately wants to get out of town and she sees her escape with the handsome Owen.

But her mother will not let Alva go so easily. Drama ensues in the hot towns n Mississippi and eventually to New Orleans.
