Inside Daisy Clover tells the story of Daisy Clover who dreams of being a star in Hollywood during the 1930's. She gets her big break at a young age. At 15 she becomes a huge star. Soon she realizes that Hollywood is all glitz and glamour.
She has a difficult mother and has a sometimes tense relationship with her manager. She also marries another actor who turns out to be gay. The movie co stars Ruth Gordon and Christopher Plummer and Robert Redford.1
Ruth Gordon received an Academy Award Nomination that year.
